If you are looking for a camp this summer for your church, look no further! Engage Camp registration is open and we have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions concerning camp!
What is Engage?
Engage is a four night missions based youth camp at Camp Paron. It is a week geared towards teaching students the importance of serving the Lord through missions experiences.
The camp will be July 16-20, 2018 and costs $175 per camper. Our Camp Paron staff will be at camp during Engage, but we ask you bring a leadership team to help chaperone for the week! The cost is $80 per chaperone.
What age group is Engage for?
Engage is for students who have completed grades 6th through 12th.
What is the average size of groups who attend Engage?
We tend to have groups around ten to fifteen students attend camp, but all sizes are more than welcome to come out and hang with us for Engage!
Who will be the camp speaker?
Our speaker for the week will be Ryan Scantling. Ryan is the Conway Campus Minister for the ABSC. He has been serving this BCM since January 2015. Prior to this position, he was the College Pastor at Dardanelle First Baptist Church and served as the Assistant BCM Campus Minister at Arkansas Tech, where he graduated December 2013. Ryan is currently pursuing his master’s degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Who will be leading worship for the week?
Worship will be led by Pursuit of Light. Check out their bio, drawn from the band’s Facebook page, and YouTube Channel below!
Bio: “Jesus is the Light that has come into the world and we simply want to help point people to that Light. Our mission as a band is to point people to the glory of Jesus Christ and be faithful servants of Jesus daily. We play music because it is a gift from God that we believe should be used to bring Him glory. When we play, it isn’t about us. It’s about authentically worshiping Jesus and getting out of the way so that the focus would be put more on Him.”
